There is a certain something about a Timberlake boy, a certain unique spirit that is hard to explain. New experiences, new associations, and special friendships that will last a lifetime enrich the personality of every camper. Our boys return to Timberlake year after year as they put themselves into the camp and its program and make it their own.

Through participation in carefully selected, fun-filled activities, you will experience a series of successes and the exhilaration of accomplishment developing a stronger sense of self worth and an adventuresome attitude. A highly skilled, mature, and caring staff (ratio of 1 to 3.5) are selected for their ability to provide strong role models that you will want to follow and perhaps become a counselor yourself some day.
An outstanding camp experience can be one of the most important influences in a young person's life. Because of this, we encourage parents to choose a camp with the utmost care.

Our location in Black Mountain, North Carolina, just fifteen miles east of Asheville, gives our campers many unique recreational opportunities. We run an extensive in-camp activity program and a wide-ranging out-of-camp trip program. Both are made easier because Black Mountain is surrounded by the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains and much of the nearby land is protected within the Pisgah National Forest. The mountains of North Carolina provide us an ideal setting for a summer boys camp, and we'd love to share it with you.
As you go through our web site, read about the activities and look at the pictures, we do out best to explain Timberlake to you. We aren't very successful though because a lot of Timberlake is a feeling. You can't take a picture of a feeling! Hopefully, however, we will give you an understanding of what it is like to share in a summer of fun and growth at Timberlake.
